I am madly in love with Leighton (Blair). Maybe so much that she does not have to be in love with me.

Happy days!

While I was “mall walking”, I saw a family, each member bringing a shopping bag. whoa! shopping galore?

Well, it brought me back to my childhood days.

As a kid, I have always anticipated being back to school. When the calendar turns to May, I can’t help but count the days down until the first day of school. Though it feels a bit frustrating, when TIME IS RUNNING SO SLOOOO- OH- OOW.. Nevertheless, it makes my heart grow more excited!

It’s the time when we go to the malls, look for a new school bag and a new pair of school shoes, whether it is for my other siblings or for me, I still feel giddy about it. The colorful notebooks, the crayons, the pencils, cute sharpeners and erasers.

IT. IS. INDEED. SO. FUN!

After buying all those wonderful and colorful stuff, I’d be so excited in getting home and in removing the price stickers on each item. Then I would carefully assign a notebook to every subject, trying to match it with the design.

Then I’d go to sleep with the HUGEST smile on my face, anticipating for the next day, where we shall put on labels on our notebooks, then putting it with a plastic cover. And still observing the countdown. :D

Oh happy days! Back to school is really cool!

and tell me how many times should the word “love” be mentioned???

is there any truth about this?

hahahahaha

Another fave author of mine! Cecilia Ahern :)

I like her for one, she’s pretty; two, her personal life is cool! :)

Really, I love these two books. In fact, I have let my friend Beth to read the “Love, Rosie” book and the other book,  “P.S. I love you” to my sister. Happily, Beth also loved the book. However, my sister, as unappreciative as she is, didn’t quite like the book. She’s totally boring. tsk. haha. But personally, I would choose “Love Rosie” over the other book. The latter is much too serious and SAD, more for grown-ups I should say. Here are a few lines from the book “PS I love you”:

“Memories were fine but you couldn’t touch them, smell them or hold them. They were never exactly as the moment was, and they faded with time.”

“what a luxury it was for people to hold their loved ones whenever they wanted”

See how sad the book is? T.T

While the “Love, Rosie” is so cool. It’s about best friends who thought they can’t go any further, as in as lovers. Both parties are hesitant because neither would want to take the risk of losing their friendship. And so despite the hidden feelings, they remained friends, still always there for each other. Though they’re away from each other, they continued to communicate with each other as much as they do when they were still kids. And then finally, the day came; both sure and brave for their feelings (well how could still be unsure after all you’ve gone through together?!).

Twice we stood beside each other at the altar, Rosie. Twice. And twice
we got it wrong. I needed you to be there for my wedding day but I was too
stupid to see that I needed you to be the reason for my wedding day. But we
got it all wrong.I should never have wasted all those years without you. Give me a chance to make them up to you. I love you, Rosie, and I want to be with you. Always. Let’s stop being afraid and take the chance. I promise I’ll make you happy.”

Both of them got married with the wrong person (of course, for they have only been in love with one another). This was a letter from Alex to Rosie. This is so nice! I wish you would also read this book!!!

Oh and about the similarities of the two books of the same author. Another reason why I like her books. The family relationship is really valued. The parents are always there for the main character, very supportive and loving indeed. :)

I have been reading a lot of books lately, and obliviously most of them are Sophie Kinsella’s books. Thanks to my friend who lent me her books (she’s a fan of Sophie Kinsella i think.) hehe

Her real name really is Madeleine Wickham, the first few books released bore the name Sophie Kinsella. I think she did it in case it won’t work? hmmm.

Anyway, after reading books of the same author, you could really identify the similarities of their characters, their way of writing too!

Sophie Kinsella’s characters are really witty girls. I love how they “crashingly” go on a very difficult situation and get out of it as gracefully as fairy tales would go, meeting their prince charming along the way. Not to mention sweeping off their feet, in a way that every girl would really fall for. :)

Despite the spotted similarities, I can’t wait to read the next book in line. The GATECRASHER, still by Sophie Kinsella.

and ooh by the way, when you’re talking about Sophie Kinsella, how could not even mention her book Shopaholic? well, i just did! haha I read this book in just 2 days! and it was an ebook! you can’t resist reading it.
